Our client is a Microsoft Gold Partner and leader in Microsoft software implementations for medium to large organisations, providing their clients with the ability to keep up with the ever-changing digital world by implementing Microsoft’s M365, Azure, Microsoft’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Engagement (CE) software from the Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) software line. The role is a Data Engineer who will assist in designing and implementing Business Intelligence (BI) and large-scale Data Analytics solutions for their customers.
Requirements
- Experience in designing and implementing Azure Data solutions using services such as: Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Blob storage, Azure Cosmos DB
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI
- Experience in OLAP technology and the Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS/SSRS/SSAS)
- Understanding of Master Data Management and Data Governance frameworks
- Familiar with development approaches such as CI/CD and Microservices
- Working knowledge of Azure DevOps
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Customer-service oriented
- Able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Graduate-level education in Computer Science or a relevant field, or a widely recognised professional qualification at a comparable level
- Minimum of three (3) years working in a similar role
