Center Moriches, New York, Rooted Hospitality Group is looking for a Marketing Manager to assist in leading the continued growth, success, and development of our consumer brand. The Marketing Manager will work closely with the Marketing Team on a variety of administrative and hospitality duties supporting the restaurant group with their marketing, guest-focused, and business development initiatives. The successful candidate for this role will demonstrate excellent communication both written and verbal, be highly organized, have an affinity towards customer service, as well as exhibit flexibility, a curiosity to learn, and the ability to adapt as goals and strategies evolve.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a passion for the job and ability to employ unique marketing techniques. They will be a skilled marketing strategist, able to drive creativity and enthusiasm in others.
Assist in developing and implementing all Marketing Strategies and Goals (Suggestive Selling, Weekly Staff Contests, Team Member Engagement) for multi-concept Restaurant Group;
Consistent clear communication with Leadership Team, Restaurant Managers & Office Staff
Engage daily with guests via email correspondence, responding to questions, comments, and concerns, providing solutions in a timely and efficient manner, and following up with internal team when / where necessary;
Manage all community donation requests – from receipt of request through tracking and evaluation of donation looking at ROI;
Help implement traditional marketing tactics including flyers, menu updates, collateral creation, e-newsletters, outreach efforts, etc.;
Create and maintain content calendar for six brands for websites, social media, and e-newsletters, drafting and deploying email newsletters while maintaining marketing database;
Perform basic website updates;
Travel as directed to pick up or distribute marketing materials as needed;
Assist with internal and off-site events and special projects, making sure events run flawlessly and on-brand through execution;
Assist in maintaining annual budget/s, including working with Unit Accountants on submission of invoices and follow-up with outside vendors where necessary;
Help maintain digital ad schedule with Meta and Google Ads Manager
Account maintenance of Yelp, Google My Business, TripAdvisor, etc.;
Assist in creating and maintaining Social Media Plan (Facebook, Yelp, IG)
Help research new markets and industry trends as directed;
Assist with special projects and events, as necessary.
Assist in developing our brands & building relationships with local community members.
Assist with catering programs and provide support with directives to increase sales.
Assist in partnering with local community events, school festivals, golf outings, etc.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience (experience in hospitality marketing and leading a team is a plus)
Proven marketing campaign experience
Excellent leadership and organizational skills
Exquisite communication and interpersonal skills
Up to speed with current and online marketing techniques and best practices
Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask
Strong copywriting skills
Attention to detail
Intermediate WordPress editing ability
Knowledge of Adobe suite software
