Join Collins Aerospace as an Account Manager – Forgings, responsible for purchasing functions in support of Castings, Forgings, & Raw Material procurement. Communicate with site and executive leadership, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure supplier capacity, lead times, and inventory goals are met. Travel up to 25% may be required.
Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- Experience providing data analysis using MS software (MS Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience working in ERP systems
- Degree in Supply Chain, Sourcing, or Commodity Management
- Prior experience in castings, forgings, or raw materials
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Sales, Inventory and Planning (SIOP) processes
- Experience working with MRP systems, preferably SAP with an understanding of Procurement parameters and usage.
- Experience identifying risks that affect supply and delivery
- Experience working with project management tools (SOW, WBS, responsibility matrix, change management, resource management, scheduling) to follow up supplier deliverables
- Experience using root cause analysis for problem solving.
- Experience communicating both verbally and in writing with internal customers and suppliers.
- Experience prioritizing decisions based on dispersion of workload, program priorities, and program directions
