Business Development Manager -Remote UK

We are looking for an experienced Business Development professional to join our team in the role of Business Development Manager, focusing on the nacelle aftermarket business across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. The role involves leading customer-facing commercial activities, developing customer engagement strategies, and executing effective sales approaches. The successful candidate will have a track record of exceeding performance targets, excellent multitasking and prioritization skills, and a strong background in identifying new business opportunities and negotiating contracts.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience leading customer-facing commercial activities within a business-to-business sales environment
  • Proven expertise in developing customer engagement strategies, managing key client relationships, and executing effective sales approaches
  • Strong background in identifying new business opportunities, structuring bids, and negotiating contracts that deliver risk-mitigated, profitable outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to present confidently and persuasively in formal settings, influencing both external clients and internal leadership
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration or Engineering
  • Experience in engaging with cross-functional teams, to ensure internal alignment and seamless customer execution
  • Prior exposure to the aerospace aftermarket and MRO industry
  • Solid understanding of key financial metrics including NPV, EBIT, and cash flow
  • High proficiency in business and proposal writing, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Collaborative team player, willing to take on additional responsibilities to support broader business objectives
  • Experience of managing business case development and gated approval processes
