Raytheon is seeking a Data Scientist to support Radar Sensor Systems (RSS). As a Data Scientist, you will work across functional areas to support the application of data science and software engineering methods and techniques for production-scale internal use and external research.
Requirements
- Design and develop data visualizations using tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or similar platforms to communicate insights effectively.
- Perform data analysis on large, complex data sets, generating actionable reports and recommendations.
- Utilize experience with various databases for data input, report generation, and data management.
- Apply machine learning algorithms for data cleaning, exploratory data analysis, and data visualization.
- Implement data reduction, feature selection, and feature engineering techniques to provide metrics that support evidence-based decision-making.
- Automate processes to enhance efficiency and scalability in handling large datasets.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to communicate findings and address technical challenges.
- Conduct analysis at all phases of the system lifecycle, including concept, design, modeling, testing, operation, and maintenance.
- Interface with stakeholders, including customers, programming management, and senior leadership, to support data-driven strategies.
