SVP of Growth, North America

As our SVP of Growth, North America, you will lead the development and execution of a strategic growth plan to achieve our revenue goals in the region. Working closely with the Safeguard Global Senior Leadership Team and functional leaders, you will drive business unit growth while maintaining a long-term focus on customers, products, and team development. This role reports directly to our Chief Revenue Officer.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Lead and execute GTM strategy for North America, overseeing sales and marketing teams to drive revenue growth with full P&L responsibility.
  • Provide strategic direction and coaching to Sales and Marketing leadership, ensuring clear decision-making and execution.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and performance excellence.
  • Support the Chief Revenue Officer in executing key growth initiatives across the entire customer journey, from demand generation to customer satisfaction.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to align sales and marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Ensure rigorous annual and quarterly planning processes to meet short- and long-term goals.
  • Develop and nurture leadership talent in North America through coaching, employee development, and engagement strategies.
  • Implement innovative pricing strategies and packaging solutions to maximize revenue opportunities and market penetration.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to align product roadmaps with market needs.
  • Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders to execute joint strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze and respond to market trends to enhance GTM strategies and client engagement.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • 10+ years of GTM leadership experience in B2B SaaS/software, with expertise in serving regulated industries.
  • Proven success in driving revenue growth and scaling sales organizations.
  • 5+ years of second-line sales and marketing leadership experience.
  • Experience in both new logo acquisition and account management/customer success.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from market data.
  • P&L management experience in mid-sized companies.
  • Strong track record in organizational change management.
  • Deep understanding of effective go-to-market strategies and their tactical implementation.
  • Experience in developing customer onboarding and success frameworks.

Additional Qualifications

  • Ability to inform senior leadership and key stakeholders on market trends, successes, and challenges.
  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to analyze P&L, develop budgets, and guide execution within financial parameters.
  • Critical thinking and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working across cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in using analytics tools to measure and optimize performance.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to engage and mentor high-performing teams.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% based on business needs.
