Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi is seeking a Sales Manager to solicit and respond to companies and organizations to rent guest rooms and meeting space, and to purchase food and beverage from the hotel. The Sales Manager will be responsible for conducting conferences, making proposals, and negotiating contracts with customers and vendors.
Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in sales or similar position
- Luxury Hotel / Resort experience
- Proficient level of written and verbal English and Russian
- Sound computer knowledge including Microsoft Office, Opera and Fusion
- Positive attitude and good communications skills
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
- Excellent selling capabilities
- Ability to take initiative
- Expertise with the Russia & CIS outbound tour operator market
- Goals oriented
