The Director of Inside Sales plays a crucial role in driving the growth of our organization by overseeing and optimizing our inside sales strategy and operations. This leader will be responsible for building, developing, and managing a high-performing inside sales team focused on new business acquisition, customer expansion, and revenue retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive inside sales strategy that aligns with company growth objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the inside sales team, fostering a high-performance and accountability culture.
- Define metrics for success and use data to analyze performance, identify opportunities, and drive continuous improvement.
- Work closely with Marketing and Product teams to align go-to-market campaigns and messaging.
- Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure smooth onboarding and strong handoffs from sales to implementation.
- Implement and manage technologies and tools that enhance sales productivity and reporting.
- Ensure quota attainment and pipeline growth across the team.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing inside sales teams.
- Strong understanding of sales methodologies, CRM tools, and sales performance metrics.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
