Sales Operations Manager – Gen AI

Our client, an early stage AI startup founded by 3 successful repeat entrepreneurs and backed by top-tier VCs, is hiring a Sales Ops Manager. The client is building brand-new Gen AI experiences for B2B teams along with the architecture and data engine to support Gen AI in production. They’re working with their first 10 customers (brand-name design partners) and working closely to develop the product to fit their needs. You will be joining a world-class founding team from companies like Microsoft, Airbnb, Upstart, Scale AI and Meta.

They are looking for a seasoned, detail-oriented Sales Operations Manager to refine and scale their go-to-market operations. The ideal candidate excels at optimizing sales processes, managing our CRM, and driving efficiency across sales activities.

What you’ll do:

  • Sales Process Optimization: Analyze and refine sales workflows, identifying bottlenecks and opportunities to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • CRM Management: Own the development and maintenance of our Salesforce CRM, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across the entire sales funnel from top-of-funnel (e.g., meetings set) to ARR.
  • GTM Tooling: Implement and manage tools that support sales and marketing efforts, including lead scoring, routing, and prospecting tools.
  • Lead Management: Build and maintain a reliable inbound scoring, routing, and attribution system between CRM and marketing systems (e.g., Google Analytics, website, Outreach, etc).
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Define and track KPIs for the sales team, creating dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights. Work closely with the go-to-market (GTM) team leads on accurate forecasting and funnel metrics.
  • Modeling: Build and maintain revenue models and dashboards using basic SQL and spreadsheets (Google Sheets).
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with marketing, finance, and product teams to ensure alignment and support for the sales organization.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations or Strategy, preferably in a fast-growing startup environment.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and its administration; experience with Outreach, Zoominfo, and Clearbit a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from data using Excel/Google Sheets; SQL experience is a bonus.
  • Proven project management abilities and attention to detail.

Bonus:

  • Experience standing up marketing measurement and attribution systems from scratch
  • Familiarity with AI or SaaS business models
