What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Lead the Mid Market Sales Engineering organization covering North America
- Develop and manage an inclusive and high‑performing team
- Serve as a thought leader and executive sponsor for key accounts
- Own performance against sales goals and ensure productive cross‑functional partnerships
- Support technical escalations and improve customer experience through hands‑on testing of sold products
What is Required (Qualifications)
- 4‑year degree from an accredited university
- 5+ years of experience managing a technical team, ideally in a sales engineering capacity
- Proven success in hiring, developing, and retaining leadership talent
- Experience creating scalable feedback loops for process improvements
- Ability to manage relationships with external technology partners through complex sales cycles
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- BS or MS in an Engineering discipline from an accredited university
- 5+ years of experience managing a Sales Engineering Team selling cloud‑managed hardware
- Experience partnering with GTM teams in frontier markets to drive product development
- Understanding of vehicle diagnostic systems, including CAN bus and PTO applications
- Hobbyist interest in working with electronic systems (e.g., car audio installation, home automation)
