Field Sales Engineer (FSE)

Develop innovative design-wins by coupling customer technical needs/application with Samtec’s product design and development capabilities, servicing customers by any means necessary.

Requirements

  • Territory Sales experience with technical design in cycle
  • Prior or existing experience calling on technology/micro-electronic and manufacturing customers at various levels
  • Strong established organizational systems and appointment setting practices that promote
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills for both internal and external customer base
  • Possess strong innate self-drive in an autonomous environment to exceed sales objectives within the territory
  • Passion for technology and B2B sales across a broad territory
  • Exceptional follow-up skills
  • 5+ Years of OEM sales experience in a technical industry
  • Component sales experience in a technical industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes and not suffer from sensory deprivation or paralysis
