SMB Marketing Programs Manager

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Programs Manager to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with expertise in global demand generation programs and database marketing processes.

As a Marketing Programs Manager, you will be responsible in assisting and leading the planning, executing, and management of various marketing programs to drive customer engagement and generate leads.

This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors. Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the Development and execution of marketing programs to support the overall marketing strategy, including demand generation, lead nurturing, and customer retention.
  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Create detailed workback schedules, coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors, and manage resources to ensure timely execution of marketing programs.
  • Collaborate with the respective teams to develop compelling marketing collateral, including email campaigns, landing pages, brochures, and other promotional materials.
  • Work collaboratively with our Audience Programs Manager to conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify target audiences, customer insights, and industry trends to inform program strategies and messaging.
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing programs, analyze results, and provide actionable insights for optimization.
  • Manage program budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing and executive teams, to ensure alignment and support for marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, agencies, and partners to execute co-marketing programs and leverage additional resources when needed.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies in marketing to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in project management, preferably in a marketing or advertising agency.
  • Proven experience in global demand generation program production.
  • Expertise in database marketing processes, segmentation, and campaign execution.
  • Strong functional knowledge in events, direct programs, print production, and other marketing channels.
  • Demonstrated core competencies in project management, including workback schedule management, quality assurance, program execution, fiscal management of projects, and stakeholder/vendor management.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and strategies to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, (Tableau, Salesforce, Marketo, Jira and other marketing tools.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and driving business growth.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 97,000 – 213,800 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
