As we continue to expand our product offerings and enter a rapid growth-stage for the company, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

As our lead Product Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in the growth and success of our business by developing and executing effective and comprehensive product marketing strategies. Your deep understanding of the EdTech market, combined with your expertise in product positioning, competitive analysis, and go-to-market planning, will be instrumental in achieving our business objectives. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in product marketing within the K-12 EdTech industry and a proven track record of driving growth and adoption. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will be a key driver in raising awareness, driving adoption, and enhancing customer engagement for our products.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive product marketing strategies to drive awareness, adoption, and customer engagement for our EdTech solutions.
  2. Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and gather customer insights to identify market trends, customer needs, and product differentiators.
  3. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, sales enablement, customer success, product management, and content development, to align marketing initiatives with product roadmaps and business goals.
  4. Create compelling product messaging, positioning, and value propositions that resonate with target audiences and effectively differentiate our products in the market.
  5. Craft high-quality marketing collateral, including product guides, case studies, presentations, website content, and sales enablement materials.
  6. Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches, ensuring successful product adoption and customer onboarding.
  7. Collaborate with demand generation and brand marketing teams to plan and implement targeted marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital advertising, email marketing, social media, and events, to drive lead generation and customer acquisition.
  8. Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, conversion rates, and customer feedback in order to optimize marketing strategies and drive continuous improvement.
  9. Act as a subject matter expert for the sales team, providing product training, sales enablement resources, and support for customer-facing activities.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in EdTech, and leverage that knowledge to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
  11. Act as a voice of the company across thought leadership initiatives, content creation, video production and the like.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing within the K-12 EdTech industry, with a proven track record of driving growth and revenue.
  • Deep understanding of the K-12 EdTech market landscape, including key trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear and persuasive messaging.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with the capacity to gather and interpret market data and customer insights to inform marketing strategies.
  • Experience developing and executing go-to-market plans for new products, including product positioning, messaging, and launch strategies.
  • Proficiency in creating marketing collateral and sales enablement materials, such as product guides, case studies, presentations, and website content.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated success in planning and executing targeted marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven, with a passion for innovation in education.
