Sales Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our Field Sales team. Sales Managers are responsible for developing world class relationships with major home center retail partners and increasing in-store presence of ScottsMiracle-Gro brands.

What You Will Do

Utilize strategic selling tactics, manage and direct Merchandisers, develop recruiting plans, and provide job training and product knowledge.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year experience in retail, merchandising, and/or account management
• Experience using sales forecasting tools
• Ability to guide and mentor Merchandisers
• Problem solving and service oriented attitude
• Current, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to routinely walk, stand, climb an 8-12 foot ladder, lift up to 45 lbs and be exposed to weather elements
