Senior Sales Operations Data Analyst

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Sales Operations Data Analyst to join our Revenue Operations team with a focus on Revenue Data Analytics. You’ll delve deep into diverse data sets and generate insights that will help us understand Pipeline and Forecasting trends and how to accelerate pipeline growth and increase revenue. You’ll work closely with Sales, Finance & Marketing to champion the use of analytics and drive strategic decision making at every level.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop, maintain, and automate reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for a range of audiences including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and our Leadership team
  • Development of sales models: sales performance, sale productivity, territory, capacity & compensation models to help support annual planning
  • Drive sales performance management and deliver business insights to the sales leadership team with a focus on improving productivity and scale throughout the sales cycle.  Work with sales management to inspect sales process quality, identify process bottlenecks, and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
  • Drive the development of data governance best practices to ensure data quality across the customer lifecycle for the GTM team.
  • Drive alignment in KPI’s & taxonomy across all departments supported by Revenue operations
  • Maintain, update, and evolve datasets that combine data from across the marketing and sales technology stacks to support reporting.
  • Partner across functional teams to tie operational objectives and drive continuous improvement in sales & marketing operational performance
  • Produce and present standardized reports and dashboards to support QBRs, monthly business reviews and quarterly board meetings for Sr. Leadership
  • Analyzation of data: review of internal & external sources, evaluate past performance, industry benchmarking & identify trends for improving effectiveness and increasing productivity
  • Interpretation of data: identify what is happening and what it means
  • Apply judgement: is it good, bad, normal, anomalous?
  • Diagnosis: why is it happening?  identification of root-causes, deliver answers
  • Prescription: what can we do about it?  Present actionable information & insights, provide recommendations
  • Be proactive: what should we be asking?
  • Leadership: drive discussions and collaborate with all departments on how to increase sales & marketing performance to optimize revenue results

What you should have:

  • 3+ years of experience as a business analyst in sales & marketing within a B2B SaaS organization
  • Advanced experience working with Salesforce data and building reports & dashboards
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage revenue models for business planning and forecasting
  • Experience extracting data from a variety of sources into a BI Tool such as Tableau or Power BI to create practical visualizations and dashboards from complex data sets
  • A love of data. It’s not enough just to know how to do math, you have joy and passion towards data
  • Strong people skills.  Ability to explain data so that other people will understand. Persuading others with data to see things differently
  • Good problem solver.  Well-rounded across all domains.  Sales, Marketing, Finance & Customer operations.
  • Agile.  Ability to manage multiple ad-hoc requests and demands requiring quickly shift focus as necessary
  • MBA in analytics, accounting, marketing, or finance desirable
  • Ability to work remotely and independently from home as this position can be based out of anywhere.
