Metrolinx is connecting communities across the Greater Golden Horseshoe. We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to develop Business Intelligence (BI) tools/applications that meet the needs of management, project delivery teams, functional teams, and other internal/external partners. The role is responsible for transforming data from source layer to presentation layer to develop dashboards and management reporting to support a data-driven culture within CPG.
Requirements
- Completion of a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in Data Science, Data Analytics and Business Intelligence
- Highly proficient in reading and writing advance SQL queries, data analysis and experience with at least one major programming languages like Python, R. and Java
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle conflicting demands and prioritize effectively
