Senior Data Scientist – Alt Defense

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our Alt Detection team at Roblox. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will apply your expertise in data science, statistics, and causal inference to strategically define, measure, and improve our alt detection systems. You will work with various applications across the company and partner with MLE and Engineering to design modular systems capable of processing billions of candidate pairs. You will also lead the cross-functional integration of identity models into Discovery, Ads, and Creator Success to eliminate fraud and improve the fidelity of platform metrics.

Requirements

• Develop ground truth evaluation strategies by integrating diverse signals
• Calibrate score thresholds across applications
• Partner with MLE to identify and validate new behavioral, network, and biometric signals
• Collaborate with Engineering to design modular systems capable of processing billions of candidate pairs
• Lead the cross-functional integration of identity models into Discovery, Ads, and Creator Success
• Conduct strategic research to decode the incentives behind alt creation
• Communicate strategic insights and present recommendations to leadership and cross-functional partners
