Staffbase is looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to join its high-caliber Sales Org. The ideal candidate has a strong SaaS technical foundation paired with sharp Sales competencies needed for revenue generation. They will partner with Account Executives, collaborate with Product, and cross-functionally work with Engineering & Customer Success to drive Sales cycles with existing & future customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Information Science, Information Systems, Business Engineering, or similar
- 4-5 years of experience in a similar role (SaaS pre-sales/solutions engineering/solutions consulting)
- Business fluency in English is required
- Strong interest (and ideally experience) in the Digital workplace, Communication, and/or Employee Experience verticals
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentations) with a focus on simplifying complex narratives through the art of storytelling
- Strong understanding of web development methodologies, plus hands-on experience with REST APIs, User Authentication protocols (SAML, OIDC), as well as a high-level understanding of SDKs
- You enjoy communicating and working with customers directly
- You bring the ability to quickly understand technical concepts and effectively communicate them to technical and non-technical people
