Why build this?
- India’s D2C wave has been limited to venture-funded D2C brands today
- The art of selling on your own website is not democratised. There are ~500k-1M sellers who can sell D2C but can at best sell on marketplaces
- Philosophically – we feel brand owners should spend most of their time on the product and not on channel optimization
- Shopify / Status-quo software solve for work-flow management of storefront but don’t do enough on “helping” merchants sell well!
Our Proposition
We have a software + services proposition for the merchant with the goal of optimising for the merchant’s profitability.
Our product is an all-in-one software stack that gives merchants everything they need to sell D2C, i.e. Storefront, Shipping, Marketing integrations, Communication.
Our services layer works on top of this software stack to achieve profitability for merchants.

Role Charter: Senior Manager – GTM Strategy
Role Summary
We’re hiring a Senior Manager – GTM Strategy to lead high-impact initiatives across ShopDeck’s growth funnel, new product launches, monetization experiments, and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Funnel Strategy & Growth
- Study ShopDeck’s inside sales funnel (demo → pitch → close) and design strategies to 2x it.
- Identify bottlenecks and high-leverage experiments across acquisition, activation, and conversion.
- Partner with Sales, Product, and Marketing to align GTM messaging, ICP, and pricing with funnel needs.
- Define key metrics, run diagnostics, and own the strategy for moving them.
Strategic GTM Initiatives
- Lead launch strategies for new products, services, or offerings — define ICPs, messaging, pricing, and rollout.
- Design and run monetization and packaging experiments; turn insights into sharp GTM plays.
- Collaborate on quarterly/annual GTM plans with leadership across functions.
- Track market/competitive landscape and surface insights that sharpen ShopDeck’s positioning.
Experiments & Playbooks
- Own the GTM experimentation engine: from hypothesis → test → scale.
- Convert learnings into repeatable playbooks for sales, product, or marketing teams.
- Champion first-principles thinking — reframe problems, avoid defaults, and aim for 10x outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–7 years of experience in strategy, GTM, business ops, consulting, or generalist roles in high-growth environments.
- Smart, analytical thinker with a structured approach and a strong sense of ownership.
- First-principles problem solver who’s comfortable with ambiguity and speed.
- Tier 1 academic background strongly preferred (IIT/BITS)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills — can work across functions and influence without authority.
