About the role

As a Revenue Operations Specialist focused on Acquisition Sales, you will play a vital role in driving execution excellence across the acquisition sales teams. You will collaborate with sales leaders and front line sales crafters to understand their processes and identify opportunities for optimization. Your goal will be to translate Shopify’s strategic vision into actionable processes that enhance sales performance and improve the overall seller experience.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Translate business strategy into actionable processes and system requirements tailored for the Sales Development Rep team.
  • Lead cross-company initiatives to foster collaboration and build a strong community among sales leaders and sellers.
  • Develop and streamline critical Top of Funnel revenue processes, including campaign operations, lead qualification, outbound prospecting, and contactability, to strengthen connections between marketing and sales and drive high-value opportunities through coordinated efforts with pre- and post-acquisition sales teams.
  • Leverage AI technologies and data analytics to enhance sales processes, drive decision-making, and optimize performance across acquisition sales teams.
  • Drive the adoption and effective utilization of processes and tools within the acquisition sales crafts to improve seller performance.
  • Tackle complex issues systematically, clarifying situations and recommending actionable next steps.
  • Advocate for the needs of sales development reps, continually asking, “What will make them more effective?” and champion initiatives that enhance their performance.
  • Manage engagement with the Sales Development community, providing updates on new capabilities, processes, and tools.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Learning & Development and Regional Operations to implement new capabilities, gather feedback, and promote adoption.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in program/project management, sales operations, sales enablement, or related fields.
  • Proven experience working with or supporting Acquisition Sales or other Top of Funnel sales roles in a sales environment.
  • Strong business strategy, decision-making, program management, and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with core Revenue stack technologies, including but not limited to Salesforce, Salesloft, and Seismic.
  • High commitment to deadlines, creativity, innovation, and proactivity.
  • Ability to thrive in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment and drive results within a fast-paced, collaborative team.
  • Experience in implementing and optimizing sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
