Staff Data Engineer

At SmithRx, we’re seeking a Staff Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team. You will design, implement, and maintain distributed systems to collect, aggregate, and govern pharmaceutical data. Our team leverages open-source tools like Airflow and DBT built on top of industry-leading data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake) and utilizes LLMs to optimize workflows. As a Staff Data Engineer, you will lead the architecture and ecosystem design of our data systems, manage cross-boundary integrations, and improve developer efficiency. You will drive large-scale projects, unblock the team, and align technical output with business value. Requirements

• 6+ years of industrial experience in software or data engineering.
• Strong skills in PySpark, SQL, and Python.
• Hands-on experience with leading ETL tools and frameworks.
• Demonstrated expertise in data warehouse technologies.
• A proven track record of successfully executing complex projects with cross-team dependencies.
