About the role

Softheon is seeking a seasoned individual contributor for the role of Director, Product Marketing to champion our Commercial Cloud health insurance platform. Our platform handles everything from shopping to enrollment, billing, and payments. The ideal candidate will be invigorated by growing product marketing capabilities in high-growth companies, showcasing creativity in their approach, and technical acumen to communicate effectively with diverse personas. This role is perfect for those who thrive under pressure, lead with confidence, and are ready for an exciting challenge.


You will:

  • Forge relationships and develop solutions that ensure alignment among sales, marketing, and product management.
  • Lead and organize comprehensive go-to-market activities around new product and feature launches.
  • Elevate the client-facing release note process and its outcomes.
  • Champion the adoption and application of Voice of the Customer (VOC) across the organization, leveraging it to drive consistent messaging and product education.
  • Develop compelling post-sale client support materials in collaboration with multiple departments, including Customer Success.
  • Lead Competitive Intelligence initiatives, keeping the company updated on the industry and competitive landscape to inform strategic initiatives.
  • Work in sync with the sales team, solution engineering, and the product team to create resonant and attractive value propositions.
  • Travel required up to 10%

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or another related field
  • A decade of experience in roles focused on Product Management, Marketing, or Sales, with an emphasis on at least two of these areas.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present to senior leadership and clients
  • Proficiency in presenting technical products and crafting value-based solutions.
  • Desire and willingness to dig in and roll-up sleeves at the tactical level
  • A proven track record of leading a product to commercial success.
  • Strong empathy with customers and passion for storytelling of a highly technical product
  • A background in Insuretech is highly preferred, with SaaS and health insurance being advantageous.
