We are looking for a Expert Data Engineer to join our Data, AI & Analytics COE team to define and govern the architecture of data products and Data Engineering pipelines, establish Data Engineering standards, and develop reference engineering practices.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar fields
- Proven experience in Data Engineering
- Experience in defining and evolving modern data architectures
- Experience with SQL, Python, and PySpark (or equivalent technologies)
- Solid knowledge and experience in distributed processing (e.g., Spark, Databricks, Hadoop, Hive)
- Experience in Cloud environments (e.g., Azure, GCP, or AWS)
- Experience processing large volumes of data in batch and/or streaming
- Strong knowledge of engineering best practices
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to structure complex information
- Strong sense of technical responsibility, critical thinking, and systemic vision
- Autonomy, proactivity, and focus on sustainable long-term technical solutions
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Continuous curiosity and willingness to evolve technologically and promote best practices
