Financial Analyst

This position is part of the team that analyzes financing options to secure capital at optimal levels and costs and supports Alabama Power Company’s and SEGCO’s financial plans by providing tactical and strategic financing assumptions. The position will also provide financial analysis and investment oversight for Alabama Power Company, Alabama Power Foundation, Alabama Business Charitable Trust, and SEGCO.

Requirements

• BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Data Sciences
• CFA, CPA, MBA or other advanced degree a plus
• Performing financial analysis
• Working with financial modeling tools and techniques
• Electric utility industry experience preferred
• Extensive use of computer applications to develop financial analyses and prepare special projects, studies and presentations
