Sr Manager Internal Communications

The Senior Manager Internal Communications leads one of two internal Communications Teams, shaping and delivering strategic messaging plans aligned to both the Company strategy and narrative and the department strategy and narrative. The role provides consultations and advisory support to Leaders and Employees across the Company, while leading a Team focused on delivering exceptional service, and guiding narratives and communications campaigns that support Southwest’s most significant priorities.

Requirements

• Act and advise the business with a broad set of stakeholders in mind
• Partner with departments to create communication strategies and messaging to create deeper engagement with multiple Stakeholders
• Work closely with Executive Leaders across the Company to support Executive platforms
• Ensure alignment on corporate and operational priorities, objectives, and key initiatives
• Establish effective relationships with other Southwest Departments for support in communicating departmental initiatives
• Guide overall communication strategy and thought Leadership of multiple topics or work groups
• Work with Leaders to frame solutions to emerging issues, and subsequently define and execute appropriate communication strategies to support the best outcome
