Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Operations Specialist – Platform Ops to join our marketing team. This position will play a key role in optimizing and managing the marketing operations function within our organization. Your expertise in marketing technology, data analysis, and campaign execution will be essential in driving efficiency, improving effectiveness, and supporting the overall success of our marketing initiatives. This is a strategic and hands-on role that requires a strong blend of technical skills, project management capabilities, and marketing acumen.

What You Will Do

Marketing Technology Management:

  • Serve as the primary administrator for marketing technology platforms, ensuring data integrity, user management, and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement system enhancements, workflows, and integrations that optimize marketing operations.
  • Manage lead scoring, nurture, and the automation of the lead funnel workflow, driving to MQLs, SQLs, and closed won deals.

Campaign Execution and Optimization: 

  • Develop and implement processes for campaign setup, tracking, and measurement, ensuring accurate data capture and reporting.
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics, analyze data, and provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Manage marketing data, including data segmentation, cleansing, and enrichment, to support personalized and targeted marketing efforts.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track marketing performance, campaign effectiveness, lead generation, and ROI.

Process Optimization and Documentation:

  • Streamline marketing processes, workflows, and documentation to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for marketing operations, ensuring consistent execution and adherence to best practices.
  • Identify bottlenecks, areas for improvement, and automation opportunities, and lead initiatives to drive process optimization and innovation.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, IT, and finance, to align marketing operations with overall business goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with sales operations to ensure smooth lead handoff, data synchronization, and alignment between marketing and sales systems.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on marketing operations, providing guidance, training, and support to stakeholders.

What You Should Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing operations, marketing automation, or related roles.
  • Strong technical proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and analytics tools (e.g., Domo, PowerBI or Tableau).
  • Demonstrated expertise in data analysis, segmentation, and reporting.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Consistent attention to detail.
  • Certifications in marketing automation platforms or other relevant technologies are a plus.
