We are looking for an innovative and experienced Marketing Operations Manager to join our expanding Marketing team. The right candidate will have an established track record of hands-on marketing automation and operations management experience within a rapidly growing company or digital marketing agency. Our ideal candidate will manage end-to-end reporting and analytics of the marketing team’s processes for StackAdapt. You will be consulted and offered the chance to provide feedback and recommendations on major decisions within Marketing. Working with the Business Ops and Revenue Ops teams, you will lead the reporting and analytics function of the marketing team’s martech stack.
StackAdapt is a remote-first company. We are open to candidates located anywhere in Canada for this position.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage the day-to-day reporting and analytical processes within the marketing department, spearheading the use of new BI tools and analyzing raw data.
- Creating, updating, and maintaining departmental wide dashboards to enable the marketing team to get insights quickly without dependency on running time-intensive reports.
- Support the marketing team with ad hoc reports and analysis, and provide clarity on the underlying data as needed.
- Assist marketing team and key stakeholders in measuring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and marketing automation programs.
- Assist in the management and improvement of StackAdapt’s marketing attribution system (Marketo Measure) to ensure alignment across Revenue Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Business Operations teams.
- Champion marketing data quality and governance by maintaining marketing database hygiene, data cleanliness in various systems, researching causes of data issues to correct MOps processes, and compliance with regulations.
- Working with our martech stack to create automated processes and collaborate with other members of the MOps team in Salesforce Marketing Cloud to improve the data pipeline and standardize automation across different tools.
- Managing data processing projects for different members of the marketing team.

We’ll be reaching out to applicants that have:
- 5-7 years experience in marketing automation/ops roles with specific success stories to share.
- Direct experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud managing marketing reporting and analytics.
- Experience managing and analyzing advanced reporting for digital marketing campaigns across different media channels.
- Experience writing SQL queries to generate reports with our BI tools.
- Experience writing SQL queries for automations within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud’s AMPscript and SSJS preferred.
- Experience with Marketo Measure (Bizible) is preferred.
- Experience with campaign management and reporting tools such as Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio, Salesforce Reporting, and ThoughtSpot is preferred.
- Operational experience blueprinting and monitoring marketing campaigns with appropriate configuration and integrations.
- Operational experience managing datasets and ensuring the environment is prepared for marketing use and segmentation.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Experience working in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Superb attention to detail and time management skills with a sense of accountability for your work.
- Research experience is preferred.
