Sales Operations Manager
Location: San Francisco Bay Area, California
Compensation: $100,000 – $135,000 base + bonus
Role Summary
Working with a leader in E-Mobility to find a Sales Development Operations Manager. Own and scale top-of-funnel execution as the CRM owner for Sales Development, accountable for systems, processes, data, and insights that drive SDR prospecting, lead qualification, routing, and early-stage pipeline creation.
This is a senior, hands-on role for someone with prior direct sales experience who later moved into Sales/Revenue Operations, with deep Salesforce expertise and a strong GTM mindset.
Responsibilities
- End-to-end ownership of CRM/Salesforce for SDR and early-funnel workflows (Leads, Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Campaigns)
- Design and governance of the lead lifecycle, including routing logic, queues, SLAs, and SDR → Sales handoff
- Salesforce reporting & dashboards tracking SDR KPIs (activity, conversion, meetings set, pipeline sourced)
- CRM data integrity and governance: field standards, deduplication, enrichment, imports/exports
- Salesforce automation using Flow, validation rules, and approvals to reduce manual work and enforce process
- Ownership of Salesforce integrations with SDR tech stack (Outreach/Salesloft, HubSpot, Apollo/ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
- Partnership with Sales leadership on ICP definition, account segmentation, territory design, and outbound execution
- SDR enablement through SOPs, training, and best-practice adoption
- Day-to-day Salesforce support while proactively identifying and fixing funnel bottlenecks
Required Experience
- 5+ years in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Salesforce ownership roles (B2B)
- Prior SDR/BDR experience or equivalent ownership of SDR workflows and KPIs
- Advanced Salesforce skills across Lead Management, Campaigns, reporting, dashboards, security, and data management
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Flow and automation
- Experience supporting common SDR tech stacks (Outreach/Salesloft, HubSpot, Apollo/ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivots, lookups, data analysis)
- Strong stakeholder management, analytical mindset, and attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; Salesforce Admin certification strongly preferred
- Exposure to technical or industrial markets (energy storage, aerospace, defense, mobility, electronics)
