SumoQuote is looking for a full-time Revenue Operations Manager to help us analyze and grow our business effectiveness within the contractors space across North America.
SumoQuote is a fast-growing B2B SaaS company based in Calgary, AB.
As a Revenue Operations Manager at SumoQuote, you would be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of our revenue analytics and toolset. It’s a dynamic role that would have you working across departments in SumoQuote and managing non-technical operations for the business.
Overview:
As a Revenue Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the revenue cycle of the organization. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and other key stakeholders to streamline processes and drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable revenue processes and systems that optimize efficiency and accuracy across the revenue cycle.
- Manage and maintain the organization’s CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system (Close CRM), ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to develop and execute strategies for lead generation, pipeline management, and revenue growth.
- Analyze revenue data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Create and maintain sales and revenue reports to track performance against goals.
- Develop and implement performance metrics to drive sales effectiveness.
- Conduct ongoing training and coaching for sales reps and other stakeholders on revenue processes and systems.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to support revenue operations.
- Continuously monitor and optimize revenue processes and systems to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with industry regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or related field.
- Experience with Close CRM, Hubspot, Customer.io or other CRM systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of revenue models and metrics.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI, or ActionDesk.
- Experience building and maintaining integrations and automations using no-code tools such as Zapier or Hubspot.
- Understanding of revenue recognition principles and industry regulations.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success.
