We are seeking a Manager, Financial Planning Strategy and Quality Assurance to play an integral role in supporting Sun Life Financial Distribution (SLFD) advisors in producing high-quality One Plans. The role will be responsible for monitoring the end-to-end quality assurance review process and driving strategic financial planning initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years in a strategy and project execution role
- 5+ years of experience with Financial Planning techniques, processes standards and regulation in Canada
- Strategic thinking and execution capabilities
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills
- Knowledge and experience of industry compliance standards and practices
- Experience assisting with and/or completing compliance audits or tests
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to negotiate at all levels of the organization
- Adaptability, exceptional organizational skills, and strong attention to detail
- High proficiency with technology: Microsoft Excel (experience with pivot tables, V-look ups), data analytics, AI tools
- Knowledge of the financial planning industry including emerging trends and opportunities
