The Marketplace New Business Development Manager, Onboarding is responsible for onboarding new partners and helping them ramp their business on the platform, staying consistent with Marketplace goal of delivering a high-quality marketplace. The role involves managing a portfolio of new partners, providing coaching and education, and driving partners’ progress towards completion of onboarding milestones.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of combined experience in retail or ecommerce marketplace required, with demonstrated understanding of retail fundamentals
- Experience managing portfolio of external vendors/partners strongly preferred
- Exceptional organizational skills, including effective prioritization, and proven ability to independently manage multiple projects and accounts simultaneously
- Ownership mindset, results-oriented and bias for action
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with, and influence partners, and effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to interact with mid-level leaders within and outside of the organization
