Temenos is seeking a Sr. Manager level candidate for Marketing Technology Architect position to lead the strategy, development, and execution of our marketing technology infrastructure. This fully remote role requires an expert in auditing and designing scalable tech stacks that align with business goals and drive operational excellence. You will manage platform selection, implementation, automation workflows, data governance, and vendor relationships while leading a team of three martech specialists.
Candidates must demonstrate advanced expertise with platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce CRM, Demandbase, and other marketing and analytics tools. This role reports directly to the VP of Marketing Operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technology Stack Audit & Architecture:
- Evaluate the existing marketing technology stack, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.
- Architect a modern, scalable martech stack aligned with Temenos’ strategic goals and vision.
- Recommend tools and integrations that drive growth and efficiency.
2. Platform Selection & Implementation:
- Lead the evaluation, selection, and onboarding of platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce CRM, Demandbase, and other critical martech tools.
- Collaborate with IT, Sales Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless implementation and integration.
- Optimize platform usage to maximize ROI and achieve operational goals.
3. Database Management & Data Governance:
- Manage the marketing database, ensuring data quality, integrity, and compliance with global regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Design and implement workflows for effective segmentation, personalization, and data-driven decision-making.
4. Automation & Attribution Models:
- Build and enhance automation workflows to improve campaign execution, lead management, and nurturing processes.
- Develop and implement multi-touch attribution models for measuring marketing performance and ROI.
5. Vendor Relationship Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors such as Salesforce, HubSpot, and Demandbase, and other professional services vendors leveraging best practices and innovations.
- Lead contract negotiations to secure cost-effective and high-performing solutions.
6. Team Leadership & Operational Excellence:
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of marketing technology professionals
- Establish clear processes, communication cadences, and performance metrics to ensure smooth operations.
- Drive a culture of accountability and innovation within the martech team.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with marketing, sales, and IT stakeholders to align on technology needs and goals.
- Act as a marketing technology advocate, educating teams on platform capabilities and best practices.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience:
- 10-12+ years in marketing technology or marketing operations.
- Hands-on experience auditing, designing, and implementing marketing technology stacks.
- Expertise with platforms like HubSpot, Salesforce CRM, Demandbase, Marketo, or similar tools.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of marketing automation, CRM systems, and ABM platforms.
- Experience with APIs, data integrations, and database management.
- Strong understanding of analytics, attribution models, and reporting frameworks.
Leadership:
- Proven experience managing and developing teams in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Strong project management skills with a focus on delivering impactful results.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and operational efficiency.
