Texas Workforce Commission is seeking a Data Analyst to perform routine data analysis and research work. The ideal candidate will be a meticulous and analytical professional with experience in data science, business analytics, or a related field. The Data Analyst will work under moderate supervision, with limited latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
Requirements
- One year of full-time experience in data science, business analytics, computer science, computer information systems, management information systems, accounting, finance, mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field.
- Six months of full-time in-service TWC experience classified as a Data Analyst I with regular status will satisfy the minimum qualifications.
- Experience with data system implementation or migration projects.
- Proficiency with SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience working with educational or public sector data.
