Position Overview

Your Daily Responsibilities
- Provide monthly and quarterly reports in coordination with the regional headquarters in Asia
- Gather and present consolidated data analysis on the country’s economic environment, various players, competitors or partners, and our positioning in the country (national strategic plan)
- Prepare activity reviews as necessary with business lines or worldwide commercial units, plus forecasts reviews of order intakes over 5 years conducted twice annually
- Work closely with account managers on sales development, customer retention, and optimization of database opportunities and pipeline development
- Collect market information to provide an overview of the market and the group’s positioning
- Economic monitoring: daily study of the current situation in the country, covering various sectors related to the group’s activities
- Assist in organizing and managing professional trade shows and country events involving external communication
- CRM system administration: data entry and improvement of data accuracy, and use for analysis, forecasting, and reporting purposes
- Work closely with the finance department and other relevant departments to support Thales Japan’s business forecasting and actual results management
Who You Are
- Seeking a renewable 12-month contract located in Tokyo, Japan
- Hold a master’s degree in business or engineering with specialization in marketing/sales
- Knowledge of defense and aerospace industries is an asset
- Have first experience as a business analyst, business developer, in strategy, marketing, or sales
- Capable of working in an international environment with multiple project teams and understanding cultural differences between Asia and Europe
- Foreign work experience would be highly appreciated
- Fluent in speaking and writing French, Japanese, or English
- Proficient with computer tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical mindset, positive attitude, team spirit, originality, autonomy, and proactivity
- Good written and oral communication skills with ability to prepare comprehensive documents
