Sales Operations Analyst

The Points Guy (TPG) is seeking a Sales Operations Analyst to help support revenue operations across our direct and programmatic advertising channels. You’ll support and collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Media Planning, Ad Tech, and Finance, and the role will report to TPG’s Director of Revenue Operations. You’ll be expected to build subject matter expertise across various systems and processes, including Salesforce, Operative, programmatic header bidding, ad-serving tools, billing and reconciliations, and others. You will combine strategic and analytical thinking to create scale, improve processes, and support business growth.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and organizational skills, be comfortable digging deep into data, and demonstrate strong business acumen. This is a unique opportunity to help build and shape the operations underpinning a top digital publisher’s growing revenue business.

What You’ll Do:

  • Partner across teams and functional expertise areas to improve and maintain operational workflows and systems in support of revenue team effectiveness and growth
  • Help manage ad sales revenue forecasting & weekly pacing in collaboration with Revenue Operations managers
  • Support Sales & Account Management in managing Salesforce pipelines, bookings, campaign actualization, and makegoods
  • Ensure Salesforce records are accurately created and maintained through processes including regular audits
  • Work cross-functionally with Ad Tech, Media Planning, Account Management, and Finance on monthly revenue reconciliations and invoice generation
  • Assist in revenue recognition and reporting across ad sales for TPG and its parent company Red Ventures
  • Execute ad hoc reporting and analysis projects using Excel or other BI tools (e.g. Tableau)

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years experience in a Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Financial Planning/Analysis role; internship experience ok
  • Experience working with systems including Salesforce and Excel preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel including Pivot Tables and Lookup functions
  • Analytical and strategic mindset with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to multi-task across stakeholders and initiatives
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and learn new concepts quickly
