Go-to-Market Associate

Location: Richmond, Greater London, UK

Type: Full-time

Company Focus: VC-Backed, High-Growth Tech & Startup Clients

At The Sales People, we work with VC-backed, venture capital–funded, high-growth tech businesses, and everything we do — from hiring to training to onboarding — is shaped by real experience scaling sales and GTM teams in fast-paced startup environments.

The Role

We’re looking for a top-notch GTM Associate: someone commercially curious, intellectually sharp and eager to learn.

This role sits at the heart of go-to-market execution, working closely with sales teams and founders to ensure they have high-quality, well-qualified leads to turn into revenue, while feeding real-world sales insights back into GTM strategy.

You’ll be employed by one of our VC-backed, scaling tech clients, while working from The Sales People HQ, surrounded by a high-performance culture.

What You’ll Do

  • Design GTM systems starting from clear business and revenue outcomes
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure they have high-quality leads to call on
  • Gather structured feedback from sales conversations to continuously refine targeting, messaging, and strategy
  • Automate workflows across CRMs, Zapier, Make, and other GTM tools
  • Build, enrich, and qualify prospect lists using tools like Clay and Apollo
  • Set up outbound campaigns, email infrastructure, and dashboards to track performance
  • Test, measure, and iterate on processes to drive efficiency and scale
  • Document decisions clearly and communicate reasoning to stakeholders
  • Work in a low-ego, collaborative, high-growth startup environment
  • Have a direct impact on commercial and revenue outcomes from day one

You don’t need to know all of this yet. Curiosity, drive and mindset matter more than experience. We’ll teach you the rest.

What We’re Looking For

  • A systems thinker who can reverse-engineer solutions
  • Commercially sharp with strong problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable with data and analytical decision-making
  • Ownership mindset and obsession with achieving results
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, VC-backed environments

This role is a great fit for:

  • Recent graduates with degrees in business, entrepreneurship, strategy, economics, or related fields
  • Early-career professionals looking to build a commercial or founder-facing career in startups

Apply now if you want to learn, execute, and grow in a high-growth, venture capital–backed startup where your attitude, curiosity, and drive will make all the difference — and where this role can evolve into a Founder’s Associate or mid-level commercial position.
