This position provides advanced data analytics, reporting, and visualisation to support data-driven decision-making in the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences. The Senior Principal Data Analyst will work closely with data experts and non-specialists to provide tailored analytical solutions and communicate complex findings clearly. Key responsibilities include providing advanced data analytics, extracting and integrating data from disparate sources, and building workflows using common software and University systems.
Requirements
- Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards relevant postgraduate
- Ability to formulate, test, and refine hypotheses
- Strong data analytical skills with experience turning data into insights and actionable recommendations
- Demonstrated understanding of the development and implementation of performance indicator frameworks
- Strong organisation and self-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of the university environment and current trends in the higher education sector
