What is the role?
We are looking for a dedicated Salesforce CPQ Specialist to join the Salesforce Operations team. The ideal candidate will work closely with our internal Sales Operations and Deal Desk teams in order to simplify and enhance the quote-to-cash process. All candidates will have solid technical expertise in process automation (Price Rules, Product Rules, Approval Process, Flows, etc), Salesforce best practices, data models, validation rules, spreadsheet analysis, and sound business acumen.
What you’ll do:
- Responsible for designing, developing, and testing solutions on Salesforce CPQ and Sales Cloud.
- Manage Order Templates and Quote Terms.
- Manage Products and Price Books and related records.
- Monitor and maintain the creation of Quote-to-Cash records.
- Identify opportunities to optimize the use of Salesforce CPQ, including Advanced Approvals
- Troubleshoot and fix issues related to Salesforce automation and validation rules.
- Partner closely with our Deal Desk and Revenue Operations teams to ensure the Quote-to-Cash lifecycle is optimized.
- Manage general Salesforce configuration and provide technical support where needed.
What you bring:
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong desire to learn. You are energized when new features and technologies become available and eager to understand them in order to maximize their potential.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce CPQ configuration.
- Must have attention to detail, good written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with Salesforce Communities, Salesforce CPQ, Advanced Approvals, Salesforce Knowledge, a plus.
- Familiarity with third-party Salesforce Packages (Vivun, 6Sense, FinancialForce, Outreach, People.ai, ClosePlan, Clari, TrustRadius, LeanData), a plus.
- Certifications: Salesforce CPQ Specialist Salesforce Advanced Administrator.
