Machine Learning Engineer – E-commerce Merchant Growth (LLM & Agentic Systems)

TikTok is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to develop and deploy LLM-powered agentic systems that drive and accelerate seller growth globally. This role involves leveraging data mining, machine learning, and NLP to enhance onboarding, retention, and growth strategies. The team focuses on applying AI to real-world challenges in the e-commerce sector.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Operations Research, or related field
• Solid understanding of ML and deep learning fundamentals
• Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• 2+ years of experience as an ML Engineer, ideally in NLP, recommendation, marketing, or growth algorithms
• Excellent analytical, teamwork, and communication skills
