Role Overview
As a Sales Operations Manager, you will be part of our sales team, working closely with internal marketing and management to ensure strong leads become strong customers. Based in Cologne, Hamburg, or remote, your goal is to keep data clean, processes clear, and documentation on point – enabling setters, closers, and management to focus on content and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Operations: Structure data in our CRM and transform interesting contacts into real opportunities.
- Interface Management: Ensure data flows cleanly between systems (e.g., Asana, Mailchimp, CRM) and sales teams receive information needed for strong conversations.
- Automation: Test new features and AI tools, build smart automations, and eliminate routine work to free up time for quality conversations.
- Account Identification: Identify relevant accounts and buyer personas, prepare lead lists, and sharpen focus for setters and closers.
- Pitch Deck Leadership: Own our pitch deck and deliver sales materials that convince.
- Case Studies: Collect results and customer testimonials from projects to showcase our value as a growth partner.
- Process Optimization: Optimize sales processes, identify bottlenecks, develop concrete solutions, and improve speed and closing quality.
Required Qualifications
- High-End B2B Experience: Experience with premium, complex services – ideally in B2B environments with customer lifetime values in the five to six-figure range.
- Online Marketing Knowledge: Experience with online marketing services or eagerness to dive deep, using this understanding to smartly steer sales processes.
- CRM & Sales Tools: Proficient navigation of CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive) and common sales tools.
- Modern Tools & AI: Enthusiasm for new tools and AI workflows, actively shaping their implementation.
- Process Affinity: Love for clear logic, structuring workflows, and deriving concrete action steps from clean data for reproducible results.
- Organizational Talent: Ability to coordinate between sales, marketing, and management, ensuring everyone is aligned at the right time.
- Ownership & Proactivity: Take responsibility, tackle issues independently, and drive them to completion without waiting for direction.
- Office Proficiency: Secure working knowledge of Office or Google tools.
- Language Skills: Perfect German and good English.
