Sales Engineer

Role Overview

Trellix is hiring a Security Pre-Sales Engineer (SE) in the Houston area. This is a remote role. The Sales Engineer will partner with sales account managers to create solution architectures and proposals that meet customer requirements. The role involves leading and engaging throughout the sales lifecycle, from discovering customer needs to leading proof of concept to gain technical wins.

What You Will Do

The Sales Engineer will oversee solution sales activities, participate in solution-led sales calls, gather requirements, develop use cases, and present Trellix strategy to customers. They will also provide technical expertise, manage technical responses to RFIs/RFPs, and present solution proposals to customers.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in Presales or System Engineering, experience with Cloud and Virtualization technologies, and presentation experience at the C-Level. They will also have experience in Security Operations Center, network administration, and network performance monitoring and analysis.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Presales or System Engineering
  • Experience with Cloud and Virtualization technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and VMWare
  • Presentation experience at the C-Level
  • Experience in Security Operations Center
  • Network administration & management experience
  • Network performance monitoring & analysis experience
  • Enterprise Anti-Virus solutions or Network Security & Encryption solutions experience
