Financial Analyst II

The Research Financial Services (RFS) department provides post-award financial management of federal, provincial, international and private contracts and grants related to research for five different Research Institutes at University Health Network. The Financial Analyst II performs a wide range of professional accounting activities requiring experienced, professional knowledge and application of accounting theory and principles.

Requirements

  • University Degree in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Three – Five years (3-5) related experience in an accounting environment with exposure to a range of accounting principles, practices and procedures
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellent client service and satisfaction
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills with strong organization and time management skills
  • Skill in accurately performing detailed numerical computations in a timely manner using large amounts of financial and/or statistical data
  • Sound professional judgment, initiative, and the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of computer application accounting systems & software applications, preferably in a Microsoft Office environment (i.e., Excel, Word, Access)
