What we’re hiring for:

  • We’ve been sales-led so far. We have over 10 BDRs and a strong team of account managers.
  • We’re in mid-market (mid-size) sales, the sales cycle can be up to 6-months long, if you’re coming from the B2C world, these tactics won’t work here.
  • We’ll expect you to define the strategy and own the implementation. You’ll have many low-hanging fruits to pick and the freedom to build the processes from scratch.
  • You’ll be working with contractors and the internal team and be able to hire more people
  • We need a legit B2B Marketer/Demand Generation Manager who’s hungry, curious, and won’t shy away from taking on a revenue goal.

What will you be doing?

  • You’ll be responsible for the demand gen strategy
  • Develop and optimize pipeline acceleration campaigns to help improve deal velocity and conversion
  • Lead content creation initiatives by working with our marketing team, executive team (our COO runs a podcast, and another podcast will be launched soon), partners (we have a network of partnering associations) or clients (1200+ clients).
  • Work with the media buyer on marketing campaigns focused on driving net-new pipeline, including specific inbound demo requests and opportunity goals
  • Manage the process for experimentation to find new channels, tactics, audiences and offers
  • Work closely with Sales to plan and manage campaigns to target and strategic accounts

Which boxes you need to check:

  • This isn’t your first rodeo. Ideally, you have 4+ years of B2B demand generation or marketing experience at a high-growth startup
  • Knowledge of ad platforms like Linkedin, Facebook, Google and Google Analytics for website. You’ll work with a media buyer who’ll run the campaigns but you need to “feel” the ad accounts
  • Experience with CRM and automation tools (we use Hubspot)
  • Experimentation and optimization mindset – get things out and test them vs. work on them until they’re perfect
  • Above-average communication skills
  • Proof that you’ve had double-digit % impacts on revenue
  • You’re ready to work at an early-stage, fast-growing startup (we’ve grown 10x in 2021)
  • You’re a self-starter – you know how to figure stuff out by yourself and solve problems fast
  • You know how to work with teams like Sales and Customer Success

What’s the work environment like at Upshift?

  • We’re a small team in the marketing department, currently 3 full-time people working with 8 contractors and 1 agency. The marketing director has mainly B2C experience (creative and strategy).  We’re looking to grow to 5-10 full-time people in the next 12 months.

📌 You can work from wherever you want and whenever you want, as long as you have overlap with EST and CEST timezones. Our business team is based in the US, and our marketing and tech team are in Central and Southeastern Europe.

💸 Salary: $51.6k/y+$15.6k bonuses (annual)
