Développeur DataOps Senior

Upgrade is seeking a Senior DataOps Developer to operate and evolve the production database infrastructure that feeds Upgrade’s core financial systems. This role is focused on operational excellence, reliability, and performance in a high-traffic production environment.

Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience in operating PostgreSQL OLTP databases in production
• Strong experience in administering PostgreSQL on AWS RDS
• Excellent mastery of: executing and optimizing SQL queries, indexing strategies, table partitioning, schema design, and evolution
• Experience with PostgreSQL replication and backup strategies
• Practical experience with database upgrades, patches, and restores
• Solid diagnostic and incident management skills in high-traffic production environments
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• Ability to adopt a methodical and rigorous approach when working with production data
