- Strategize and oversee the development of new campaigns
- Identify, create, and update standard operating procedures
- Develop budgets and estimate project costs
- Research and recommend new communications outlets
- Oversee the dissemination of print and electronic communications
- Develop, design, and/or editing of digital content
- Ensure compliance with accessibility standards and policies
- May coordinate special events
- Oversee and direct the work of other marketing employees and students
