Sr. Data Analyst

Valenz is a healthcare platform that simplifies healthcare for employers, payers, providers, and members. As a Sr. Data Analyst, you will lead complex data implementations, maintain data integrity, and drive process optimization. You will work on end-to-end data-driven projects, develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, and collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders. You will also design and implement standardized processes and frameworks for data intake, quality and validation, reporting, and delivery. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data operations, analytics, or a related role with demonstrated ownership of complex projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex querying, optimization, and data validation.
  • Strong experience with Databricks (or similar cloud data platforms), including working with large-scale datasets and supporting ETL workflows.
  • Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Experience working in cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and analytical modeling.
  • Proven experience working with ETL processes and data pipelines, with a strong emphasis on documentation, workflow orchestration, and operational reliability.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and documenting complex, cross-functional data workflows from initiation through delivery in a clear and scalable way.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and drive stakeholder alignment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and bring structure to complex problems.
