Corporate Communications recently partnered with the Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) to assess our data & analytics maturity and to develop a data strategy for the department. Based on this analysis, Corp Comm will be centralizing our data reporting resources under one team and is looking for a strong, experienced manager to lead this new team. This M3 Data Reporting Manager will partner with the Corporate Communications’ six departments:​​​​ ​​​Communications Creation & Operations, Crisis Communications, Executive and Internal Communications, Public Relations, Strategic Communications, and Social Media to understand and support their data reporting needs.

The ideal candidate must possess previous leadership experience, a strong working knowledge of data reporting tools, and experience collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data across multiple applications such as Adobe Analytics, Medallia, Demandbase, and Khoros.

Core Responsibilities

  1. Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew. Provides guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
  2. Oversees a team of data reporting specialists as they work with key stakeholders to understand business strategy, questions, and goals.
  3. Leads a team of specialists as they deliver results of reports to business partners. Provides consulting to edit, write, and generate reports and leverages business acumen to understand reporting needs and timing for aligned business areas.
  4. Oversees and reviews queries for performance issues, ensuring the implementation of changes as needed. Leads the design and development of the system, as well as creation of user documentation. Monitors customer usage, upgrades enterprise wide query and reporting tools, monitors batch queries and ensures interoperability and security of various front-end components.
  5. Collects, analyzes, and communicates statistics related to daily business operations. Uses findings to develop processes, procedures, and workflows to improve operational effectiveness.
  6. Assists in developing short and long-term initiatives for department to align with business strategies. Participates in business planning activities and development of budgets to determine feasibility and resource needs.
  7. Supports team’s continuous development to advance their technical skillsets, and to stay informed of industry innovations in analytics and tools.
  8. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five years related work experience.
