Vanquis is seeking a Lead Analyst to support portfolio analytics and credit strategy. This role involves developing and optimizing reporting suites, analysing customer data, identifying trends and opportunities, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various teams to drive strategic decision-making and deliver impactful insights. The role focuses on managing risk within a lending portfolio, with a strong emphasis on customer needs and responsible lending principles.
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in data analytics, portfolio analysis, or a related field within the consumer credit industry.
- Strong background in Consumer Lending performance monitoring, with knowledge of IFRS9 impairments.
- Strong background using advanced analytics tools (e.g., SAS, R, Python).
- Skilled at turning complex data into clear business insights.
- Excellent attention to detail and a passion for accuracy.
