Account Strategist (Please respond ONLY if you have direct digital marketing experience.)
Summary:
As Account Strategist, you will focus mainly on maintaining and growing existing business but will also collaborate with sales team members to smoothly transition new client communication and responsibilities. This is an outward facing position that is skilled at solving problems and being challenged. As Account Strategist, you lead scope creation, ensure highly quality execution of projects, plus ensure customer experience marketing communications and make data driven decisions. The ideal candidate must have experience in creating and executing plans as well analyzing the results to optimize performance. Highly collaborative, this position works both cross-functionally and across teams to achieve grand results.
Responsibilities:
- Drive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each client and oversee reporting to ensure client satisfaction
- Work with the creative team to develop content for marketing campaigns and sales enablement
- Collaborate with the Director of Strategy, Project Managers and Sales to understand the sales goals and priorities, and develop an integrated scope of work to support the sales and revenue goals
- Execute digital and field marketing programs to support new business growth including, but not limited to: email nurture programs, influencer marketing campaigns, social media (organic), and landing pages
- Strategizing with internal teams regarding fulfillment planning and campaign optimization
- Collaborate with sales and work with creative team to develop landing pages for prospecting campaigns
- Increase product adoption, and create opportunities for up sell via communications to current install base
- Perform quantitative analysis on market segmentation, target account lists, sales pipeline status
- Analyze internal and external tracking to optimize marketing mix and deployment of marketing activities
- Deliver consistent and regular post-campaign analysis, reporting, and recommendations to sales stakeholders and marketing management
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience of developing, executing and recording success of marketing strategy
- Excellent analytical skills – ability to understand business strategies, tactics and research results
- Understanding of marketing and sales strategy, planning issues, budgeting, priority setting
- Working knowledge of marketing automation software is required
- Clear understanding of customer life cycle and sales funnels
- Organic social media experience is required
- High level of professionalism and responsiveness
- Excellent written and verbal communication, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines
- Expert in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Willingness to travel (expected about 1-2 times a quarter)
Experience:
- 5+ years of relevant digital marketing experience
- 3+ years focused on customer, and field-facing marketing
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Marketing Automation and CRM experience
- Google Analytics experience
- Experience with pay per lead (PPL) or pay per click (PPC) advertising
