At Verto, we’re on a mission to democratise global finance and empower businesses in Emerging Markets to reach the world. We’re seeking a Sales Manager to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base in Tanzania and the East African Region.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in payments, fintech, fx, or related industries; with focus on new business acquisition.
- Strong local network and understanding of business practices in Tanzania and within the region.
- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and scaling successful sales teams in competitive markets.
- Strong knowledge of the Tanzanian market, including economic trends and key business sectors, particularly as related to cross border payments.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales tools for pipeline management.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on building lasting customer relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to leverage data for decision-making.
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
